I finally got to watch this.
The thing that came to me very strongly was if you fail big, then you will succeed big.
I also like Ciro’s statement about if you know how the project will look when it is done, why bother doing it; being open to having it unfold as it does and not forcing it to look a particular way may lead to something even greater than you imagined.
Wow! I will definitely keep this in my mind as I move forward with my vision.
Thanks so much to you and Ciro.

Wonderfully reiterated Susan. I’m so glad you received so much from the interview. Remind me to tell you about the butterfly imagery moment at the end of the film. xoxoxo

Also, I have to go back to watch Pierce’s interview to remember the joke. 🙂

Thank you very much for this wonderful interview. What would you tell a person, like me, who has a very creative mind and has stories in my mind, but who cannot seem to put those stories on paper. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much, Steven. I keep wanting to call you Mr. Elkins. Fond memories.

This is a great question. I think we often get bogged down with the “mechanics”. There are lots to unpack. There are a few things to “do”
      1) Be very clear with your vision. What is it that you want to create? (Short stories, A script, A novel)
      2) What feeling would you like to evoke in others and for yourself. (Ciro says the work must be in heart space). Your creativity is generosity.
      3) Collaboration and support = Accountability. When we surround ourselves with supoortive and elevating like-minded people, some that we can mentor, and some that we are mentored by, all of whom we can learn from. When we allign ourselves in collaboration (writing group, this group, etc.. ) then we are encouraged to “say outloud” what it is that we want and then we have a collaboration and accountability.

I look forwar to connecting virtually. Keep an eye out for the zoom link on the private face book group.

What a gift this conversation is! Everything about this exchange is inspiring my continued reach inward to expose my inner light burning the fear that has kept me from stepping into my creative beast. You both have inspired me deeply and it’s only day 1!! ♾💚🙏🏽

My soul is soaring – the power of collaborative art and storytelling is indeed an anecdote for the fear virus – keeping us in the illusion of separation. Infinite gratitude for your courage to keep creating for the advancement of humanity!

Holding vision space: in divine time to meet you both honored to witness the love between you two.

Deepest condolences for all your loss – I empathize completely, my family in CO has been hit like a wreaking ball. May we continue to stand strong and cherish each breath ✨

Thank you so much Chivonnie. We’ll be moving forward with how to acknowledge the fears and where they come from with forthcoming speakers. Fear is not something that necessarily goes away. In fact, it is a necessary component to courage. We can have fear without courage but we can not have courage without fear. In the workbook offered on the Facebook Group for this series, there is an exercise that asks you to list your fears. These can be conscious fears (Ones you know that you are aware of) and also deeper unconscious fears that take time and steps forward to uncover. Yes, supportive collaboration is essential in all areas of life. To build your team with people who elevate you, and with whom you trust. The team can be your work team, family and friendships. I look forward to connecting with you further. I will arrange a zoom link as a better mechanism for the live Private Facebook Group. Keep an eye out for that in tomorrows event. I appreciate your energy and your connectedness.
